Renovations at the George Walker House were completed by Jhus Canyon Construction.

Renovations include:
Summer 2005 - Insulating, sheetrocking, adding custom shelves, paint and exterior door to laundry room.  Installed a new washer and dryer in laundry room.  (Kevin Dunn is sheetrock/texture expert).
Winter 2005 - Insulating, sheetrocking, painting front bedroom (now the "green room") - Thanks again to Kevin and his construction cohorts!

January - February 2004 - New flooring in kitchen, living room, dining room and bath; complete rewiring of the entire house; new paint in living room, kitchen, and bathroom; new bathroom fixtures, new ceiling fans; and a new stovepipe and chimney.  I think that the stovepipe and chimney is the best upgrade.  When Scott removed the old flooring, he found 7 layers of linoleum and Douglas and El Paso newspapers that date back to 1926!
2003 - New roof and gutter for back of the George Walker House.  Scott and crew from Jhus Canyon got the roof finished in record time.  We are very pleased with Scott's work and will continue to contract with him.
December 2004 - Insulating, sheetrocking, painting "blue room" (we left Dale's stenciling intact).
